Double H is a full service metal fabrication company offering manufacturing
services primarily in the Heavy Truck Industry.
Founded
in 1982 by Heath Crysler (Michigan Wire Cloth, Werner Inc.) and
“ Joe” Hradil (Solder-Craft, Inc.),
Double H began by providing to, then Detroit Diesel Allison, assembly,
welding and brazing services.
By
1987, Double H had expanded into a new facility in Plymouth and
added stampings, tubing and light machining to our existing services.
Over
the years, we experienced steady growth and, as a result, relocated
in 1990 to our current, 20,000 sq/ft, state-of-the-art facility
located in Westland. It was here that we added machining, plasma
cutting and robotic welding. Under the Engineering expertise of
Heath Crysler and the visibility of Joe Hradil, Double H contributed
to several design changes for product improvement, which includes
products such as Piston Pin Retainers, Oil Pick-Up Tube Assemblies,
and Cooler Plate Assemblies.
All
the while, our philosophy has remained “Customer satisfaction
through quality products.” We earned QS 9000 status in 1999.
In
addition, we employ highly skilled personnel who solidify our family
business. This talent, combined with our state of the art equipment
and technology, brings a variety of expertise to help serve our
customers best.
In memory of Heath Crysler and Joe Hradil, we remain dedicated to their vision.
